Also, we're up to 40 donations for the food drive. Congratulations! Don't forget, all of your donations will directly help people in our community who are having a hard time buying groceries this month. December can be a difficult month for a lot of people, if you can help it would really be appreciated.
Next week is Spirit Week at Clairlea. Don't forget to dress up and get into the holiday spirit.
Monday: Pyjama Day!
Tuesday: Twin Day! We'll talk about this in class tomorrow...
Wednesday: Jersey Day! Wear jerseys, hats, sweatshirts...anything that supports your favourite team.
Thursday: Festive Dress! Wear anything you like that puts you in a holiday mood :)
Friday: STAY AT HOME DAY!!! The best day of all!
Ms.Purvis today I read about Nelson Mandela, I really liked it, he was a great leader. We have so many good things to learn from him.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you took the time to learn more about Nelson Mandela. You're right when you say we can learn so much from him. He used his life to make the world a better place. I will do my best to follow in his footsteps.
DeleteI thank Ms. Purvis for everything she did to make the Potery Cafe happen. Thank You. I haven't brought anything in for the food drive but I definitely will. I never say no to a donation. I can't wait for Spirit Week. Last year we didn't have spirit week. We only had Spirit Day. Oh and thank you for the free time at the computer lab.
ReplyDeleteThank YOU Anisha and the rest of the class! I had such a wonderful time and I know your families did too. We have until next Thursday to drop off our food bank donations, don't worry.
DeleteI'm looking forward to Spirit Week too. I get to sleep in on Monday because I'm wearing my pyjamas to school! :)
